Challenge
In response to a change in ownership and the evolving global office landscape, the goal was to design a space that fosters ingenuity and social connectedness. As designers, we were challenged with creating the workplace for a new era of workers and to make waves within Calgary's tech scene.
Strategy
New age tech workers thrive in a space characterized by acoustic treatments, natural light, participation spaces and technology-driven meeting spots. Integrating elements that are supportive of employee health and well-being was central for the back-to-office transition in our post-pandemic world.
Delivery
Local artists were commissioned for one-of-a-kind murals, woodwork, tapestries and canvases to populate the workspace with vibrant displays of human creativity. The robust central café-bar, framed by expansive windows, embraces a modern vision of a social future where all can come together, creating engagement in Calgary’s emerging tech scene.
