Challenge
For Calgary tech firm Helcim, a fixed physical environment could not accommodate the rapid pace of their work and growth. With their projects and tasks constantly shifting and morphing, Helcim’s innovative executives needed future-facing solutions where creativity could thrive.
Strategy
For Helcim, each workspace doubles or triples in function. This meant untethered technology was necessary to accommodate both community and solo tasks. Employees engaged in the vision, expressing a desire to control their own mobile and digital preferences.
Delivery
Taking cues from airport lounge design, the entry collab-café is a hub that buzzes with energy. It evokes a feeling of connection and a sense of arrival and also of people going places. Aligning with Helcim’s company culture and organizational values, the new space showcases a creative, next-generation work environment where employees bond.
