Fusing technology and humanity for Hexagon's office of the future.

Challenge

We were challenged with integrating Hexagon’s advanced technological needs into a space where people could thrive. While Hexagon had a clear vision for their new office—aiming to foster a more social culture and promote equality—they weren’t sure how to bring that vision to life.

Strategy

Balancing technical and human design considerations, Shearer facilitated conversations with Hexagon’s leadership, development and design teams to strategize solutions for building security, complex electrical design, laboratories and a space that encourages movement, community and wellness.

Delivery

Merging human and technical needs, the new building enhances Hexagon’s proprietary technology through security and complex hardware and software labs, while creating connections to nature through scenic murals and easily accessible outdoor space. With a capacity of 600, the high-ceilinged staff café, gym and focus spaces promote a healthy community culture.
