The Design implementation in this existing, century old building was challenging given the desire for seating numbers and the requirements for a fully functioning kitchen and wood burning pizza oven in a relatively tight heritage building. Shearer was also able to provide a full branding package for this award winning venture.

Maintaining characteristics of the original architecture combined with sleek white curved forms has brought balance and modern design to the forefront. Flow in the space was addressed by utilizing and enhancing inherent architectural elements on the interior and exterior and the strategic placement of the Acunto wood-fired pizza oven imported from Napoli. Receiving its Vera Pizza Napoletana (VPN), makes this Vancouver’s first true Neopolitan pizzeria.
